Or″i‐chalch (?), n. [L. orichalcum, Gr. �; ὄροσ, mountain + χαλκόσ brass: cf. F. orichalque.] A metallic substance, resembling gold in color, but inferior in value; a mixed metal of the ancients, resembling brass; — called also aurichalcum, orichalcum, etc.
