Pa‐lil″o‐gy (?), n. [L. palilogia, Gr. παλιλλογία; πάλιν again + λέγειν to speak.] (Rhet.) The repetition of a word, or part of a sentence, for the sake of greater emphasis; as, “The living, the living, he shall praise thee.” Is. xxxviii. 19.
