‖Par′a‐go″ge (păr′ȧ‐gō″jē̍), n. [L., fr. Gr. παραγωγή, from παράγειν to lead beside, protract; παρά beside + ἄγειν to lead.] 1. (Gram.) The addition of a letter or syllable to the end of a word, as withouten for without.
