Par″ent‐age (–ā̍j; 277), n. [Cf. F. parentage relationship.] Descent from parents or ancestors; parents or ancestors considered with respect to their rank or character; extraction; birth; as, a man of noble parentage. “Wilt thou deny thy parentage?” Shak.
