Ped″ate (pĕd″ā̍t), a. [L. pedatus, p. p. of pedare to furnish with feet, fr. pes, pedis, a foot.] (Bot.) Palmate, with the lateral lobes cleft into two or more segments; — said of a leaf. — Ped″ate‐ly, adv.
