Pe‐ris′ter‐op″o‐dous (?), a. [Gr. περιστερά a pigeon + πούσ, ποδόσ, foot.] (Zoöl.) Having pigeonlike feet; — said of those gallinaceous birds that rest on all four toes, as the curassows and megapods.
