Pitch, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Pitched (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Pitching.] [See Pitch, n.] 1. To cover over or smear with pitch. Gen. vi. 14.

2. Fig.: To darken; to blacken; to obscure.
