Pygopod

Py″go‐pod (?), n. [Gr. πυγή rump + -pod.]

1. (Zoöl.) One of the Pygopodes.

2. (Zoöl.) Any species of serpentiform lizards of the family Pygopodidæ, which have rudimentary hind legs near the anal cleft, but lack fore legs.
