Reeve, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Rove (rōv); p. pr. & vb. n.Reeving.] [Cf. D. reven. See Reef, n. & v. t.] (Naut.) To pass, as the end of a rope, through any hole in a block, thimble, cleat, ringbolt, cringle, or the like.
