Rhe″o‐crat (?), n. [Gr. ρεἱ̑ν to flow + κρατει̑ν to rule.] (Elec.) A kind of motor speed controller permitting of very gradual variation in speed and of reverse. It is especially suitable for use with motor driven machine tools.
