Rho″do‐sperm (?), n. [Gr. ρὅδον the rose + σπέρμα a seed.] (Bot.) Any seaweed with red spores.

☞ As the name of a subclass, Rhodosperms, or Rhodospermeæ, is synonymous with Florideæ (which see.)
