‖Ru‐bai‐yat″ (?), n. pl.; sing.Rubai (�). [Ar. rubā'iyāh quatrian, pl. of rubā'iy having four radicals, fr. rubā' four.] Quatrians; as, the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. Sometimes in pl. construed as sing., a poem in such stanzas.
