Scrawl, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Scrawled (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Scrawling.] [Probably corrupted from scrabble.] To draw or mark awkwardly and irregularly; to write hastily and carelessly; to scratch; to scribble; as, to scrawl a letter.
