‖Si‐pho″ni‐um (?), n.; pl.Siphonia (#). [NL., from Gr. ����, dim. of ����. See Siphon.] (Anat.) A bony tube which, in some birds, connects the tympanium with the air chambers of the articular piece of the mandible.
