‖Spo′ro‐zo″a (–zō″ȧ), n. pl. [NL., from Gr. σπόροσ a spore + ζο̑ͅον an animal.] (Zoöl.) An extensive division of parasitic Protozoa, which increase by sporulation. It includes the Gregarinida.
