Sprag, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Spragged (sprăgd); p. pr. & vb. n.Spragging (–gĭng).] 1. To check the motion of, as a carriage on a steep grade, by putting a sprag between the spokes of the wheel. R. S. Poole.
