Stag″worm@′ (@stăg″wûrm′), n.(Zoöl.) The larv@a of any species of botfly which is parasitic upon the stag, as Œstrus, or Hypoderma, actæon, which burrows beneath the skin, and Cephalomyia auribarbis, which lives in the nostrils.
