Stove, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Stoved (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Stoving.] 1. To keep warm, in a house or room, by artificial heat; as, to stove orange trees. Bacon.

2. To heat or dry, as in a stove; as, to stove feathers.
