Subduce

{ Sub‐duce″ (?), Sub‐duct″ (?), } v. t. [L. subducere, subductum; sub under + ducere to lead, to draw. See Duke, and cf. Subdue.] 1. To withdraw; to take away. Milton.

2. To subtract by arithmetical operation; to deduct.
