Swab (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Swabbed (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Swabbing.] [See Swabber, n.] To clean with a mop or swab; to wipe when very wet, as after washing; as, to swab the desk of a ship. [Spelt also swob.]
