‖Syn′en‐tog″na‐thi (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. σύν with + εντὄσ within + γνάθοσ jaw.] (Zoöl.) An order of fishes, resembling the Physoclisti, without spines in the dorsal, anal, and ventral fins. It includes the true flying fishes.
