Tach‐hy″drite (?), n. [Gr. ταχύσ quick + ὕδωρ water. So named from its ready deliquescence.] (Min.) A hydrous chloride of calcium and magnesium occurring in yellowish masses which rapidly deliquesce upon exposure. It is found in the salt mines at Stassfurt.
