Tep″e‐fy (?), v. t. & i. [imp. & p. p.Tepefied (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Tepefying (?).] [L. tepere to be tepid + -fy; cf. L. tepefacere. See Tepid.] To make or become tepid, or moderately warm. Goldsmith.
