Tha‐li″a (?), n. [L., fr. Gr. Θάλεια, originally, blooming, luxuriant, akin to θάλλειν to be luxuriant.] (Class. Myth.) (a) That one of the nine Muses who presided over comedy. (b) One of the three Graces. (c) One of the Nereids.
