Tra‐ject″ (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Trajected; p. pr. & vb. n.Trajecting.] [L. trajectus, p. p. of trajicere to throw across; trans across + jacere to throw. See Jet a shooting forth.] To throw or cast through, over, or across; as, to traject the sun's light through three or more cross prisms. Sir I. Newton.
