Trig″a‐mous (?), a. [L. trigamus a thrice-married man, Gr. � thrice married; � (see Tri-) + � marriage: cf. F. trigame.] (Bot.) Having three sorts of flowers in the same head, — male, female, and hermaphrodite, or perfect, flowers.
