Tu′bi‐na″res (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. L. tubus tube + nares the nostrils.] (Zoöl.) A tribe of sea birds comprising the petrels, shearwaters, albatrosses, hagdons, and allied birds having tubular horny nostrils.
