Tut″ty (?), n. [F. tutie; cf. Sp. tutia, atutia, LL. tutia; all from Per. tūtiyā.] (Chem.) A yellow or brown amorphous substance obtained as a sublimation product in the flues of smelting furnaces of zinc, and consisting of a crude zinc oxide.
