Whimper

Whim″per (?), v. i. [imp. & p. p.Whimpered (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Whimpering.] [Cf. Scot. whimmer, G. wimmern.] To cry with a low, whining, broken voice; to whine; to complain; as, a child whimpers.
