‖Xan′tho‐rhœ″a (?), n. [NL., from Gr. ξανθόσ yellow + ρεἱ̑ν to flow.] (Bot.) A genus of endogenous plants, native to Australia, having a thick, sometimes arborescent, stem, and long grasslike leaves. See Grass tree.
