I. "to take out of" a thing, τί τινος Hom., etc.; ἔκ τινος Hdt., etc.:—simply "to take out", νηδύν id=Hdt.:—Mid. "to take out for oneself", Il.; ἐξ. τὰ φορτία "to discharge their" cargoes, Hdt.
