I. "to guide straight, direct", Aesch., Ar.; εὐθ. δόρυ "to steer" the bark "straight", Eur.; εὐθ. πλάταν id=Eur.; εὐθ. χερσί "to manage or guide" him, Soph.

2. metaph. "to direct, govern", Trag.

II. "to make or put straight", Plat.; εὐθ. δίκας σκολιάς "to make" crooked judgments "straight", Solon.
