I. "good-will, favour, kindness", κατ᾽ εὔνοιαν "out of kindness or good-will", Hdt.; δι᾽ εὐνοίας Thuc.; δι᾽ εὔνοιαν Plat.; εὐνοίας ἕνεκα Dem.; μετ᾽ or ὑπ᾽ εὐνοίας id=Dem.; ἐπ᾽ εὐνοίᾳ χθονός "for love of" fatherland, Aesch.; εὔνοιαν ἔχειν εἴς τινα ap.
