I. "Corinth", the city and country, Il., Hdt., attic; famed for its luxury, whence the proverb οὐ παντὸς ἀνδρὸς εἰς Κόρινθον ἐσθ᾽ ὁ πλοῦς; — with a masc. adj., ὀφρυόεντα K. Orac. ap. Hdt.:—proverb., Διὸς Κόρινθος, used of persons who are always repeating the same old story, Ar., etc.
