Capitulation

Ca‐pit′u‐la″tion (kȧ‐pĭt′ū̍‐lā″shŭn), n. [Cf. F. capitulation, LL. capitulatio.] 1. A reducing to heads or articles; a formal agreement.

With special capitulation that neither the Scots nor the French shall refortify.
