Cor″y‐bant (k?r″?–b?nt), n.; pl. E. Corybants (-b�nts), oftener L. Corybantes (–băn″tēz). [L. Corybas, Gr. Κορύβασ.] One of the priests of Cybele in Phrygia. The rites of the Corybants were accompanied by wild music, dancing, etc.
