Habergeon

Ha‐ber″ge‐on (hȧ‐bẽr″jē̍‐ŏn or hăb″ẽr‐jŭn), n. [F. haubergeon a small hauberk, dim. of OF. hauberc, F. haubert. See Hauberk.] Properly, a short hauberk, but often used loosely for the hauberk. Chaucer.
