‖Had′ro‐sau″rus (hăd′rō̍‐sa̤″rŭs), n. [NL., fr. Gr. αδρὅσ thick + σαυ̑ροσ lizard.] (Paleon.) An American herbivorous dinosaur of great size, allied to the iguanodon. It is found in the Cretaceous formation.
