Hellgamite

{ Hell″ga‐mite (?), Hell″gra‐mite (?), } n.(Zoöl.) The aquatic larva of a large American winged insect (Corydalus cornutus), much used a fish bait by anglers; the dobson. It belongs to the Neuroptera.
