Hydrosome

{ Hy″dro‐some (?), ‖Hy′dro‐so″ma (?) }, n. [NL. hydrosoma. See Hydra, and -some body.] (Zoöl.) All the zooids of a hydroid colony collectively, including the nutritive and reproductive zooids, and often other kinds.
