Hy′o‐glos″sal (?), a. [Hyo- + Gr. � tongue.] (Anat.) (a) Pertaining to or connecting the tongue and hyodean arch; as, the hyoglossal membrane. (b) Of or pertaining to the hyoglossus muscle.
