I″so‐bront (ī″sō̍‐brŏnt), n. [Iso- + Gr. βροντή thunder.] (Meteor.) An imaginary line, or a line on a chart, marking the simultaneous development of a thunderstorm, as noted by observing the time when the thunder is heard at different places.
