Monocrotism

Mo‐noc″ro‐tism (?), n. [Gr. μόνοσ alone + � a beating.] (Physiol.) That condition of the pulse in which the pulse curve or sphygmogram shows but a single crest, the dicrotic elevation entirely disappearing.
