‖O′re‐o‐so″ma (?), n. pl. [NL., from Gr. ὄροσ, -εοσ, mountain + σω̑μα body.] (Zoöl.) A genus of small oceanic fishes, remarkable for the large conical tubercles which cover the under surface.
