Orgyia

‖Or‐gy″i‐a (�), n.(Zoöl.). A genus of bombycid moths whose caterpillars (esp. those of Orgyia leucostigma) are often very injurious to fruit trees and shade trees. The female is wingless. Called also vaporer moth.
