Pichurim bean

Pich″u‐rim bean′ (?). (Bot.) The seed of a Brazilian lauraceous tree (Nectandra Puchury) of a taste and smell between those of nutmeg and of sassafras, — sometimes used medicinally. Called also sassafras nut.
