Psalmody

Psal″mo‐dy (?), n. [Gr. �; � psalm + � a song, an ode: cf. F. psalmodie, LL. psalmodia. See Psalm, and Ode.] The act, practice, or art of singing psalms or sacred songs; also, psalms collectively, or a collection of psalms.
