{ ‖Raj′poot″, ‖Raj′put″ } (räj′po͞ot″), n. [Hind. rāj-pūt, Skr. rāja-putra king's son.] A Hindoo of the second, or royal and military, caste; a Kshatriya; especially, an inhabitant of the country of Rajpootana, in northern central India.
