Squall, v. i. [imp. & p. p.Squalled (skwa̤ld); p. pr. & vb. n.Squalling.] [Icel. skvala. Cf. Squeal.] To cry out; to scream or cry violently, as a woman frightened, or a child in anger or distress; as, the infant squalled.
