Squa″lo‐don (skwā″lō̍‐dŏn), n. [NL. Squalus a genus of sharks + Gr. οδοὔσ, οδὄντοσ, a tooth.] (Paleon.) A genus of fossil whales belonging to the Phocodontia; — so called because their teeth are serrated, like a shark's.
